Skywalk Project at Khao Khuean Lan, Sikhiu: Contract Signed, Construction to Begin Soon

Soon, Nakhon Ratchasima will have a new tourist attraction with a landscape improvement and infrastructure development project to support ecotourism in the Khao Khuean Lan area, Khlong Phai Subdistrict, Sikhiu District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province.

The Khorat Geopark team welcomed over 50 executives, staff, teachers, and students from Ubon Ratchathani Geopark. Led by Father Surapol Saiphan, former Governor of Ubon Ratchathani Province, Professor Yut and Professor Suchada Maenpim, and Phi Aun, Director of the Natural Resources and Environment Division, Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Administrative Organization.

December 6, 2025, Representative of Khorat UGGp executive board, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jaroon Duangkrayom, Deputy Director, conducted an official visit and held high-level discussions with the management team of Lushan UGGp, China, led by Cui Ming, Director and Hu Wenwen, Manager. Following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Hantangang River UGGp, Korea, last October, to exchange knowledge on Geopark management, educational activities, and the development of Thailand-China geotourism.

The discussions focused on solidifying joint activities under the framework of the MoU, leading to the following points of cooperation:

The executive committee of Khorat Geopark and the director of the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Office of Natural Resources and Environment met with the Governor of Nakhon Ratchasima, Mr. Anuphong Suksomnit, to discuss the advancement of Khorat UNESCO Global Geopark.
