โดยจะมีผลใช้บังคับเมื่อพ้นกำหนด 180 วันนับแต่วันประกาศในราชกิจจานุเบกษาเป็นต้นไป
ดังนั้น พระราชบัญญัติแร่ พ.ศ. 2560 ฉบับนี้ จะเริ่มต้นมีผลใช้บังคับในวันที่ 29 สิงหาคม 2560 เป็นต้นไป
