The Khorat Geopark team welcomed over 50 executives, staff, teachers, and students from Ubon Ratchathani Geopark

The Khorat Geopark team welcomed over 50 executives, staff, teachers, and students from Ubon Ratchathani Geopark. Led by Father Surapol Saiphan, former Governor of Ubon Ratchathani Province, Professor Yut and Professor Suchada Maenpim, and Phi Aun, Director of the Natural Resources and Environment Division, Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Administrative Organization.

On this occasion, the study group visited the Petrified Wood Research Institute, which exhibits outstanding fossils in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, including petrified wood, ancient elephants, and dinosaurs. It is also home to the Khorat Geopark World Office. The group then visited important geosites in Sikhio and Kham Thale So districts, participating in activities with the communities of Khao Chan Ngam, Khao Yai Thiang, Ban Phan Dung School, and Den Kluea Phan Dung. The group was warmly welcomed by the local communities and teachers.

We had the opportunity to share our experiences working on and driving the Khorat Geopark forward in all aspects. We sincerely hope that our experiences will be beneficial to the Ubon Ratchathani Geopark's efforts and achieve its goals.
