Opening of the Khorat Geopark Souvenir Center at Khao Yai Thiang: More than "Souvenirs," It Is About Creating Opportunities for the Community and Supporting Education

The opening of this center represents a collaborative effort among key network partners, including Khorat Geopark, the Plant Genetic Conservation Project under the Royal Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (RSPG Klong Phai), the “Pai Duay Kan Pai Dai Klai” Community Enterprise, and Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University (NRRU), to tangibly drive the grassroots economy.

​This souvenir center does not merely function as a point of sale but is positioned as a "hub for wisdom products" for the people of Sikhio and Khorat Geopark. Its primary goal is to generate income for youth and local communities who bring their creative products for sale, helping create jobs and supplemental income. It encourages youth groups and community enterprises to become strong and sustainably self-reliant. Tourists visiting Khao Yai Thiang will have the chance to experience and support products that reflect the identity of the Khorat Geopark area within Sikhio District.
