Khorat UNESCO Global Geopark, Thailand, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Yangan-Tau UNESCO Global Geopark, Russia. This new agreement was finalized on September 12, 2025, during the 11th International Conference on UNESCO Global Geoparks in Chile.

​The partnership offers a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge and expertise on several key objectives, including Geoheritage and Geotourism, Culture and Sustainable Development, Knowledge Exchange and Joint Educational Programs.

This MoU reinforces a shared commitment to using geopark as a powerful tool for global understanding and sustainable development.
